In 2005, Henry Wang Yao-Hui founded the first Chatime in Taiwan. Using quality ingredients and blending with a special touch to create innovative flavor combinations, with a clear goal of creating the best teas in the world.

As for the name, the word “cha” means “tea”. So technically “Chatime” could be translated as “tea time”. But today, with more than 1,000 locations worldwide, Chatime™ means much more than that. Chatime is the world's largest teahouse franchise.
